Food is central to your 6-sensory "Valenova" experience at The Hillcrest.
We take great care in the planning, preparation and presentation of every meal--from your morning coffee to your turndown chocolate. Menus change daily and focus on fresh, local and organic ingredients. Meals are never rushed, and dinner is often described as an "event".
Fine Dining
 All meals are served in our dining room. Overlooking Lake Ontario in Port Hope, this panoramic view soothes the soul and invites conversation.
Our dining dress code is "Wear What You Want". Some guests prefer to stay in their spa robes all day. Others like to dress for dinner. It's your choice!
To "Serve" You Better
Hillcrest Valenova is licensed under LCBO and features distinctive wines that are not available through LCBO outlets.
Should you wish to enjoy a bottle of wine you bring from home, we would be pleased to serve it to you in the dining room. A corkage fee of $10 per bottle will apply.
We would be happy to chill your bottle in our courtesy pantry, and we provide glasses and ice buckets in every room.

Dietary concerns are gladly accommodated. Let us know of any allergies or special considerations upon booking. Our culinary team can prepare custom menus including vegan, vegetarian, diabetic, gluten-free, celiac and raw foods.
Cheese and Wine Pairing Tutorials
Make this a special add-on to your spa weekend. An intimate tutorial will teach you the finer points of cheese and wine pairing, along with helpful information on the nutritional value of certain cheeses.
